The front of this gorgeous pillow is made from a vintage, handwoven, and hand-dyed indigo textile from West Africa. This form of textile is traditionally woven by men; the cloth is then sewn together in strips and dyed with natural indigo dye. No two pieces of indigo are exactly the same, which makes each piece unique! The backing is a natural-coloured cotton and has an envelope enclosure.
INSERT SIZE: 14 x 20" (pillow cover is slightly smaller)
COLOURS: dark blue and pale blue
PILLOW INSERT IS INCLUDED (fluffy, hypoallergenic, synthetic down alternative insert which has similar loft to down but is made with microfiber so doesn't have actual feathers potentially poking you). This means it will be ready to add colour to your home straight from the box!
